Estimate Changes

Important

Any changes to any of the Estimate smartsheet must follow an agreed procedure and must be properly documented. The steps to achieve each of these requirements are described in this section.

Important

When creating a new porject estimate, Portal is searching '0000 - PM Framework (Restricted)' workspace for a folder with the text EstimateTemplate in its name. Therefore the actual Estimate folder must not be moved to any other location and the Estimate folder must contain EstimateTemplate text in its name.

Currently there is no overall Estimate release policy in place. Changes of the Estimate template or any other associated smartsheet are activated in the live version whenever necessary. Only estimate changes are logged in the 'PMF Template Change Log' sheet.
